Search tips
- To search in a subset of topics, click in the search field and select a filter.
- To search for a specific word or phrase, add quotation marks around it (example: "budget column") in the search field.
- To remove highlighting on the search terms in a topic, click .
- To search within a topic, click , press Ctrl+F, and enter the search term.

Assignments
When you assign a specification set or spec section to other people, they have access to it in the viewer.
- Open the specification set or spec section.
- In the Information panel, expand the Assigned To section.
- Open the project home page.
- If the Assignments panel is closed, click (Assignments).
- In the By section, select the filters.
- Assigned To: The name of the assignee.
- Company: The company of the assignee.
- Record Type: The type of assigned item.
- Status: The status of the assigned item.
- Due Date: The due date of the assignment. If an assignment doesn't have a due date, the record due date, if available, is used.
- To open a specification set or spec section from the panel, click one of the following:
- chevron_right (Open): Open the specification set or spec section in the current tab.
- open_in_new (Open): Open the specification set or spec section in a new tab.
- In the module, select the specification sets or spec sections, and then click (Send) on the toolbar.

On the assignment card, click more_horiz (More) > Send Assignment Reminder.
Reminders are sent only for open assignments.
In the Information panel of the specification set or spec section, you can add assignments.
- In the Assigned to section of the panel, click Add.
- Open the list of users, contacts, or distribution lists.
- To open the list of ProjectSight users, click Users.
- To open the list of company and project contacts, click Contacts.
- To open the distribution lists of contacts, click Distribution list.
- Select the checkbox for one or more names or distribution lists.
- To invite a member, click Invite member.
- In the Email field, enter or select the email address.
- From the Security role list, select a security role to make the new team member a ProjectSight user.
- In the First name and Last name fields, enter the name.
- In the Company field, select the company.
- Click Save.
- Click Done.
- To add a due date on the contact card, click Set a Due Date or (Date), and then select a date.
To view all the contacts in the portfolio, select the Include portfolio contacts checkbox.
The list displays only project contacts or displays all contacts and users, depending on the portfolio setting for company and contact selection.
This option is available if you have permission to invite members.
If you select an existing email address, the contact's name, company and default security role are entered automatically.

Select None (contacts only) to make the new team member a project contact.
—Or—
Enter a new company name, and then click Add.
—Or—
Click Save & add another to invite another team member.
If the specification set or spec section has a due date, that date is used as the assignment due date, but you can change it.
- In the Assigned To section of the panel, click the side of a contact card, and drag it to a different position.
Assignments don't have to be completed in this order.
- On the contact card, click (Date), and select the new date.
You can only change the due date for assignments that aren't completed yet.
- On the contact card, clickcheck(Mark Done), so it becomes green (check).
You can only delete assignments that aren't done yet.
- On the contact card, click more_horiz (More) > Remove.
This person will no longer receive notifications.
