ProjectSight for iPad is integrated with your ProjectSight products, so you have access to critical project information in the field. While you're offline, you can work with existing project data, as well as capture new data. Later, when your iPad is connected to the internet, you can sync everything with the database.

Contacts and users

In ProjectSight, you can be one or more of the following types, which are managed in ProjectSight for the web:

  • Company contact: You're included on the Contacts tab of a company record.
  • Project contact: You have access to a project.
  • ProjectSight user: You're invited by the administrator to collaborate in one or more projects in that portfolio. Company and project contacts don't have to be ProjectSight users.

In ProjectSight for the web, your portfolio administrator sets the permissions that determine which modules and actions you have access to.

Getting started

To get started in ProjectSight, follow these steps:

  1. ClosedCreate your Trimble Identity account, and sign in to ProjectSight.
    1. On the ProjectSight sign-in page, click Create new Trimble Identity ID, and enter your details.
    2. —Or—

      If you're invited to a portfolio, click Create your Trimble Identity account in the invitation email.

    3. Confirm your email address in the validation email.
    4. If the email isn't in your inbox, check the spam or junk folder.

    5. Sign in to ProjectSight with your Trimble Identity credentials.
    6. You can also sign in to ProjectSight with your Google account.

  2. ClosedDownload your project data from the database.
  3. ClosedUpdate your project data.
  4. ClosedUpload the new data to the database.
    • Sync your records and project files with the database.
