Search tips
- To search in a subset of topics, click in the search field and select a filter.
- To search for a specific word or phrase, add quotation marks around it (example: "budget column") in the search field.
- To remove highlighting on the search terms in a topic, click .
- To search within a topic, click , press Ctrl+F, and enter the search term.
Revenue codes
You can create a revenue code list that's used for budget items and non-committing contracts. To see a summary of the revenue codes, you can design a report that groups budget items or contracts by revenue code and then add the custom report to ProjectSight.
- In a Crystal Reports file, you insert a summary group for revenue codes.
- You upload the report file in ProjectSight.
- You generate the report for budget items.
- Open the settings.
- In the Portfolio settings or Project settings section of the menu, click Financials.
- On the menu, click Revenue Codes.
You can add a unique code and an optional description for each revenue code.
- Click Add new row.
- In the Code column, enter a unique code.
- In the Description column, enter the description.
- Press Enter.
- Click the revenue code, and drag it to a different position in the list.

Click Done.
The revenue code is added at the bottom of the list.
Changes to a revenue code are applied wherever the revenue code is used.
You can export the revenue code list to Excel where you can edit the list.
- Click the Code column.
- Click the Description column, and then edit the description.
- Press Enter.
- Click the revenue code, and then drag it to a different position in the list.

To sort the revenue codes alphanumerically, click sort_by_alpha (Sort) on the toolbar.
If a revenue code is used in a record, you can't delete that revenue code.
- Point the cursor to the row, and then click cancel (Remove).
The revenue code is deleted immediately from the list.
