Safety Notices

Use safety notices to notify contractors of safety violations that were committed on the job site. A safety notice is documented proof that you notified the contractor, and it may be admissible in court.

License: Certain actions, such as adding safety notice records, require a license as well as security permission. Contact your project administrator if you are unable to perform some actions using the mobile app.

Required fields:

  • If auto-numbering is on, numbers are assigned to safety notice records with non-draft statuses when they're synced to the database.
  • Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*) and are enforced for non-draft records.

Workflow statuses:

  • Draft safety notice records are only visible to the user who created them.
  • Safety Notice records can't be changed back to the Draft status.
  • When an assignment or courtesy copy is added to a draft safety notice record, the status changes automatically to the next workflow status. This is set at the record settings level by your administrator.
  • Safety Notice records with a locked status can't be edited or deleted.

  8. Downloads all the drawings or files linked to this safety notice. Any new links will be automatically downloaded when the project is synced.

Creating

  1. In the Safety Notices list view, select Add button.
  2. Enter a subject and description for the notice.
  3. Take a photo or video to attach to the comment.
  4. To add assignments, select Assign.

    To send courtesy copies, select CC.

  5. Enter additional details and information, then select save icon.

  • To duplicate safety notices, see Duplicate Record. Note that courtesy copies, comments, assignments, and links aren't copied to the new safety notice.

Editing

  1. Open a safety notice.
  2. Enter the new changes.
  3. Select save icon.

To bulk edit your safety notices, see Batch Edit.

  1. In the Location box, select >.
  2. Choose a location from the list.

    3. The location hierarchy is set in the web application.

  3. Select Select.
  4. Select save icon.
