Weather entry
You can manually or automatically add weather entries to daily reports.
- Open the record settings.
- Click Daily Reports.
- On the settings menu, click Weather Entry.
If you select the manual option, you can add your own weather entries.
- From the Entry Type list, select Manual.
If you select the automatic option, weather entries are added automatically to daily reports. Requests for weather information are made every hour from the start time to the end time and up to the project end date. The exact times and intervals of the entries depend on the information that's available from the weather station.
The entries are added to the relevant daily report based on the local time from the selected weather station. If the daily report doesn't exist yet, it's added automatically. Required fields are ignored until a user edits the daily report.
- Manual entries can still be added to daily reports.
- Automatic weather entries aren't added to locked daily reports.
- From the Entry Type list, select Automatic.
- In the Time Range section, enter the From and To times.
- To set the location for the weather station, enter the zip / postal code in the Postal Code field.
- The Postal Code field only supports American zip codes and Canadian postal codes.
- If all the location information is entered, the zip / postal code is used to set the location.
- From the Weather Station list, select the weather station.
