Search tips
- To search in a subset of topics, click in the search field and select a filter.
- To search for a specific word or phrase, add quotation marks around it (example: "budget column") in the search field.
- To remove highlighting on the search terms in a topic, click .
- To search within a topic, click , press Ctrl+F, and enter the search term.

Financials
In the financial settings, you can turn on the Financials module in the portfolio or project. You can also change the cost period settings at the project level.
To open the financial settings
- Open the settings.
- In the Portfolio settings or Project settings section of the menu, click Financials.
Turning on the Financials module
You can turn on the Financials module for all projects in a portfolio or only for a specific project.
To turn on the Financials module for all projects in the portfolio
- In the portfolio settings, open the financial settings.
- On the General tab, click the Enable Financials toggle to turn it on.
To turn on the Financials module for a specific project
- In the project settings, open the financial settings.
- If the settings are locked on the General tab, click lock (Locked) on the navigation toolbar.
- Click the Enable Financials toggle to turn it on.
Defaulting to the current cost period
When a change order is created, the current cost period can be selected automatically.
To default to the current cost period
- Open the financial settings.
- On the General tab, click the Default to Current Cost Period toggle to turn it on.
