Daily reports - Equipment

You can track the equipment that's used on the job site each day. In the Equipment section, the summary displays:

  1. The total equipment quantity.
  2. The total equipment hours.
Equipment summary

The totals are for all the companies if you have the related permission. Otherwise, you only see the totals for your own company.

  1. Open the daily report.
  2. On the right side of the Equipment section, select expand_more (Expand).

You can add items from the equipment list to the daily report.

  1. On the right side of the Equipment section, select edit (Edit).
  2. In the grid, select Add Equipment.
  3. In the new row, select an item from the equipment list. and then enter the details.
  4. Select Done.

You can copy equipment cards into a daily report.

  1. On the right side of the Equipment section, select content_copy (Copy).

    2. The most recent equipment cards that you can copy are displayed. Cards with an Equipment/Company/Crew combination that's not already in the daily report are selected.

  2. To choose a different date, select a date in the calendar.

  3. In the grid, select the checkboxes for the equipment cards that you want to copy.
  4. In the grid, change the equipment details.
  5. Select Done.

You can filter information by company in the Daily Reports view and within a daily report. The company filter is applied to the following sections:

  • Equipment
    • The Daily Reports view only displays daily reports with equipment entries for the selected companies.
    • A daily report only displays entries for the selected companies in the Equipment section.
  • Labor
    • The Daily Reports view only displays daily reports with labor entries for the selected companies.
    • A daily report only displays entries for the selected companies in the Labor section.
  • Notes
    • In the Daily Reports view, the company filter is not applied to the Notes section.
    • A daily report only displays comments created by someone from the selected companies in the Notes section.
  • The company filter is displayed if you have the View permission for Labor or Equipment and if there is data in the Equipment, Labor, or Notes section.
  • If you add or edit an entry in a daily report that doesn't fit the current filter, the filter is cleared in the daily report.

  • The company filter in the Daily Reports view and the company filter in the daily report are not affected by each other.

  1. In the Search panel of the Daily Reports view, select Company.

  2. Select the checkbox for one or more companies.
  1. At the top of the daily report, select the Filter by company list.
  2. Select one or more companies from the list.

    3. To search for a company, start typing in the Search field.

The company filter is cleared when you navigate to another daily report from the calendar in the Information panel or by the Previous item icon(Previous) or Next item icon(Next) buttons.

  • In the Search panel of the Daily Reports view, select Company and then clear the checkbox for the company.

    In the Filter by company list of the daily report, select Icon to restore dialog size (Remove) by the company name.

You can edit equipment entries in unlocked daily reports.

The Company column and the By column always display the information from the original entry.

  1. On the right side of the Equipment section, select edit (Edit).
  2. Select a row, and then modify the information.
  3. Select Done.

You can delete equipment entries from the grid.

  1. On the right side of the Equipment section, select edit (Edit).
  2. Point your cursor to the row, and then select cancel (Remove).
  3. Select Done.
