Search tips
- To search in a subset of topics, click in the search field and select a filter.
- To search for a specific word or phrase, add quotation marks around it (example: "budget column") in the search field.
- To remove highlighting on the search terms in a topic, click .
- To search within a topic, click , press Ctrl+F, and enter the search term.

Comparisons
You can compare two drawings to review any differences between them. After you open the first drawing, which is the base drawing, you can select the comparison drawing. Then you can align and compare the drawings.
In the alignment and comparison modes, the following default colors are used:
- Blue circle: Lines of the base drawing.
- Red circle: Lines of the comparison drawing.
- Gray circle or Black circle: Overlapping lines of the base and comparison drawings.
- The base and comparison drawings must have the same height and width.
- The name of the base drawing is always displayed at the top of the drawing viewer.
In the alignment mode, you can move the comparison drawing so its lines overlap with the lines of the base drawing.
- To move the comparison drawing, click the arrows.
- To zoom in, hover over the drawing, and then move the mouse wheel forwards.
- To zoom out, hover over the drawing, and then move the mouse wheel backwards.
- To pan across the drawing, click and drag the drawing.
- To reset the alignment, click .
- Click Finish Alignment.

Click (Drag & Drop), and then click and drag the comparison drawing.
The drawings are displayed in the comparison mode.
In the comparison mode, you can review any differences between the selected drawings. To make the comparison easier, you can change display options such as the line colors and the contrast between the drawings.
- At the top-right of the menu, click settings (Options).
- Expand the Drawing Comparison Options menu.
- Change the line colors.
- To the left of the base drawing, click circle, and then select a color.
- To the left of the comparison drawing, click circle, and then select a color.
- To the left of Overlapping Linework Color, click circle, and then select a color.
- To increase the contrast between the drawings, turn on the High Contrast toggle.
- To show or hide a drawing, click visibility_off (Hidden) or visibility (Shown) to the right of the base or comparison drawing.
- To show or hide the annotations of the base drawing, click visibility_off (Hidden) or visibility (Shown) to the right of Annotations.
The contrast setting affects the color of the overlapping linework and any shading to make the differences easier to see.
This only affects annotations that are added in ProjectSight.
- Hover over the drawing, and then rotate the mouse wheel forwards or backwards.
- Expand the Drawing Comparison Options menu.
- Click Update Alignment, and then align the drawings.
- At the top-right of the Drawing Comparison Options menu, click clear (Close).

On the navigation toolbar, click flip_to_front (Compare).

At the top of the drawing, click arrow_back Done.
After you set up two drawings for comparison, you can print the current view, which is based on the selected options from the Drawing Comparison Options menu.
- Set up two drawings for comparison.
- In the Drawing Comparison Options menu, click Print Results.
- In the print dialog of the browser, edit the settings and then click Print.
