Collaborate in your project
Free version
There are various ways to share your project information and get information from your team members.
Assignments and courtesy copies
When you add team members as assignees or to the courtesy copy list:
- They receive an email notification. Team members, even if they are a project contact without a security role, can reply to the notification to add comments to the record.
- Team members with a security role can open the record in ProjectSight. Depending on their permissions, they can view, edit, and remove information.
Sharing panel
In the Sharing panel, you can change the sharing setting, or you can copy and share the record hyperlink. The Sharing panel is available when you open the full record.
In the Shared With section of the panel, you can select:
- Entire project: Allow everyone with access to the project to see this record.
- Participating Companies: Limit the record to team members who are record participants and their companies. Participants include the author, assignees, and courtesy copy recipients, as well as individual contacts and contacts of companies that are listed in any record fields.
Downloads
If some team members don't work directly in your project, you can download records, drawings, or specifications so that you can share project information with them. In the module, you can select multiple items and then click the download button on the navigation toolbar.
