Folder synchronization

Folder synchronization options are only available for projects that use ProjectSight's file library.

In the File Library, you can turn on automatic synchronization for a folder. When you sync the File Library, all the files in this folder and its subfolders are downloaded automatically so they're ready to view.

Folder icon Synchronization status
Folder not set to sync The folder isn't set to sync automatically. You can turn on automatic synchronization.
Child folder with synced parent This folder is set to sync automatically. You can turn off automatic synchronization.
  1. In the File Library, open the unsynced folder.
  2. On the navigation toolbar, click Icon for turning on synchronization > OK.

    3. The 'Sync this folder to mobile' setting must also be enabled for each File Library folder in ProjectSight for the web.

  1. In the File Library, open the synced folder.
  2. On the navigation toolbar, click Icon for turning on synchronization > OK.

    3. The files in this folder remain in the File Library.
