From the project home page, select Add to view the Quick Add menu.

Select Upload to choose photos to be added to the web application.

1. In the References box, select .
2. Select Take Photo and take either a photo or video using your device.

If prompted to allow access to your camera or microphone, select OK.

Use the Text or Pencil tools to annotate the photo.

3. Select Done.

2. Select Photos/Videos, then choose a photo or video from your phone storage.

1. In the References box, you may need to swipe left to view the attached files.
2. Select the thumbnail to view the attachment.

Only linked/pinned drawings and images/videos can be removed. Other documents, including PDFs, that were attached to a Snippet-Item-Lower from the web application, can only be removed from the web.

1. Select the Notes field.
2. Enter your notes.
3. Optionally:
• Select to take a photo or video to include in your notes.
• Select , then choose the photos or videos from your library.
• Select > Link Drawings to link a drawing to this note.
• Select > Upload Files to upload and link a file to this note.

1. Select the Comments field.
   Alternatively, you can access photo control from References, Notes, or Checklist Approval.

2. Enter your comments.

3. Optionally:

   • Select to take photos or a video.

   • Select > to take photos or a video.
     You see multiple photos display in a carousel.

4. To annotate a photo with the Text or Pencil tools, select .
   

Alternatively, select Done to attach photos without annotation to the record. Photos save locally in the app, not to your personal camera roll.

1. In Comments, References, Notes, or Checklist Approval, select .
   

2. Select Photos/Videos.

3. Select a camera roll.

4. Select photos to choose them.

   A displays on the selected photos.

5. Select to annotate your photos with the Text tool or Pencil tool .

   —Or—

   Edit photo properties with the Properties icon .

6. To upload your photos to the record, select Done.

7. To save your photos to the record, select .

Photos save locally in the app, not to your personal camera roll.

If you have create photo permissions, you can quickly upload photos from the project home page to the photos module in the web application.

1. From the project home page, select Add to choose photos from your device's camera roll.
   

2. Select Upload to choose photos to be added to the web application.

If photo library access is requested, allow access.

3. Select photos to choose them.

   A displays on the selected photos.

4. Select to annotate your photos with the Text tool or Pencil tool .

   —Or—

   Edit photo properties with the Properties icon .

   If prompted to allow access to your phone, select Allow.

5. To upload your photos to the web application, select Done.

Processing may take a few minutes. If you are offline, processing will start when you reconnect. When your photos have uploaded you will receive a pop-up message that your photos have uploaded, even if you have navigated away from the quick upload page.

Photos uploaded to the web application sort by capture date. In order to view your photos in the web application, we recommend the Uploaded by user filter. You may also use the following filters: Record types, Location, Date captured, or Uploaded by company.

1. Take photos from the Comments, References, Notes, or Checklist Approval.
2. Select a photo in the carousel to choose it.
   You see a border display on your selection.

5. Enter your text.
6. Select Done.
   You see the text display in red.
   
7. Select and drag your text.
   Optionally, use the Pencil tool to add further annotation.
   
8. To save your annotations, select Done.
   You see the photo carousel display.
9. To save your annotations to the record, select Done.
   Photos save locally to the app, not to your personal camera roll.

5. Use your finger or a stylus to draw on the photo.
   You see the drawing display in red.
   Optionally, use the Text tool to add further annotation.

6. Select Done.

7. To save your annotations to the record, select Done.
   Photos save locally to the app, not to your personal camera roll.

In Checklist Approval, Comments, or Notes, select .

2. To take photos, select .
3. To edit photo properties, select .
4. Select Properties.
5. Accept or edit defaults for the Name and GPS Coordinates fields.
6. Enter a short description in the Description field.
7. Select a location from the Location field dropdown menu.
8. To apply your edits to all current photos in the carousel, select Apply to All.
9. To annotate your photos, select the Text tool or Pencil tool .
10. Select Done.
11. To save your edits to the record, select .

If your app crashes during photo capture, you will receive a recovery message.

1. After a crash, open any record.

A recovery message pop-up window displays.

2. Select Recover to see your video or display your photos in a carousel.

—Or—

To prevent any action on your photos or videos, and to receive a recovery message next time you open a record, select Ask again later.

—Or—

To delete your photos or video, select Delete forever.

3. Select to annotate your photos with the Text tool or Pencil tool .
4. To save your photos or video, select Done.

1. After a crash, open any record.

A recovery message pop-up window displays.

2. To delete your photos or video, select Delete forever.

To prevent any action on your photos and videos, and to receive a recovery message next time you open a record, select Ask again later.

If you have permissions, you can view all photos, videos, drawings, and documents attached to a record in the view all screen.

Select the Number of attachments icon from References, Comments, Notes, Daily Reports (Labor), RFIs (Questions, Discussion, Answer), and Submittals (Description, Documents for Review, and Approved Docs) or select the Attachments link in Checklist items to access the view all screen.

On the view all screen, documents, drawings, photos, and videos are grouped by the location they were added to the record.

1. You can access the view all screen from References, Comments, Notes, Daily Reports (Labor), RFIs (Questions, Discussion, Answer), and Submittals (Description, Documents for Review, and Approved Docs) by selecting the Number of attachments icon .

—Or—

To open the view all screen from a Checklist item, select the Attachments link.

On the view all screen, documents, drawings, photos, and videos are grouped by the location they were added to the record.

2. Select to download attachments.

1. On the view all screen, select to download attachments.
2. Choose Select to open the select mode.
3. In select mode, choose each attachment you want to share.

A check mark shows on each selected attachment.

4. Select Share .
5. Choose how you want to share the attachment.
6. Select the Back arrow to return to the record.

1. On the view all screen, select to download a document or drawing.
2. To open the attachment viewer, select a document or drawing.
3. In the viewer, select More options .

A menu displays.

4. To share a single document or drawing, select Share.

—Or—

Select Cancel to return to the attachment viewer.

5. Choose how you want to share the attachment.

You are returned to the attachment viewer.

6. Select More options to return to the menu.

—Or—

Select View All or the Back arrow to return to the view all screen.

7. Select the Back arrow to return to the record.

1. On the view all screen, select to download a photo or video.
2. To open the photo viewer, select a photo or video.
3. In the photo viewer, select More options .

A menu displays.

4. To share a single photo or video, select Share.
5. Select View Properties to view photo properties.

View Properties is only an option for photos.

—Or—

Select Delete to delete the photo.

—Or—

Select Cancel to return to the photo viewer.

6. Choose how you want to share the attachment.

You are returned to the photo viewer.

7. Select More options to return to the menu.

—Or—

Select View All or the Back arrow to return to the view all screen.

8. Select the Back arrow to return to the record.

1. On the view all screen, select to download a photo or video.
2. To open the photo viewer, select a photo or video.
3. In the photo viewer, select More options .

A menu displays.

4. To delete a photo or video, select Delete.

A Delete Attachment? pop-up window displays.

5. Select View Properties to view photo properties.

View Properties is only an option for photos.

Select Share to share the photo or video.

—Or—

Select Cancel to return to the photo viewer.

6. To delete your photo and return to the view all screen, select Delete.

—Or—

Select Cancel to return to the photo viewer.

7. Select the Back arrow to return to the record.

1. On the view all screen, select to download a photo.
2. To open the photo viewer, select a photo.
3. In the photo viewer, select More options .

A menu displays.

4. To view photo properties, select View Properties.
5. Select Share to share the photo.

—Or—

Select Delete to delete the photo.

—Or—

Select Cancel to return to the photo viewer.

6. After you view photo properties, select More options to return to the menu.

—Or—

Select View All or the Back arrow to return to the view all screen.

7. Select the Back arrow to return to the record.

1. On the Take Photos screen, select PHOTOS.
2. To zoom in, place two fingers on the screen and use a pinch motion.

—Or—

To zoom out, place two touching fingers on the screen and then separate them.

3. Select to take a photo.
4. Select to annotate your photos with the Text or Pencil tool.
5. Select Done.
6. Select to save your photo to the record.

1. On the Take Photos screen, select VIDEO.
2. Select to start a video recording.
3. To zoom in, place two fingers on the screen and use a pinch motion.

—Or—

To zoom out, place two touching fingers on the screen and then separate them.

4. Select to stop the video recording.
5. Select Done.
6. Select to save your video to the record.
