Clearing the browser cache
After a major update, such as a viewer upgrade, it's important to clear your browser cache before you use ProjectSight. This prevents potential errors as you use the application.
All browsers: To clear the browser cache using the keyboard shortcut
- While the browser is open, press Ctrl+Shift+Del.
- Select Cached images and files (Chrome / Edge) or Cache (Firefox).
- Click Delete data (Chrome) or Clear now (Edge / Firefox).

Chrome: To clear the browser cache from the settings
- At the top-right of the browser, click , and then click Settings > Privacy and Security.
- Click Delete browsing data to open the dialog.
- On the Basic tab:
- From the Time range list, select All time.
- Select the Cached images and files checkbox, and leave the other checkboxes cleared.
- Click Delete data.
Edge: To clear the browser cache from the settings
- At the top-right of the browser, click , and then click Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
- In the Delete browsing data section, click Choose what to clear.
- From the Time range list, select All time.
- Select the Cached images and files checkbox, and leave the other checkboxes cleared.
- Click Clear now.
Firefox: To clear the browser cache from the settings
- At the top-right of the browser, click , and then click Settings > Privacy & Security.
- In the History section, click Clear History.
- From the Time range to clear list, select Everything.
- Select the Cache checkbox, and leave the other checkboxes cleared.
- Click Clear Now.
