Account transfers
If you are a free account owner, you can transfer your free account to an existing paid account. The owner of the existing paid account becomes the owner and operator of your account and the projects that are part of it. Your free account is also canceled.
To transfer a free account to a paid account
- Paid account owner: Send your license key.
- On the banner in ProjectSight, select your profile picture or initials, and then select License Key.
- Copy the license key.
- Send the license key to the free account owner by your preferred method of communication.
- Free account owner: Add the license key.
- On the banner in ProjectSight, select your profile picture or initials, and then select License Key.
- Enter the license key from the paid account owner, and then select Apply.
- In the confirmation dialog, review the terms and conditions.
- Select the confirmation checkbox and then select Yes, upgrade.
- Paid account owner: Assign a license to the former free account owner.
- To assign the licenses, go to https://accounts.trimble.com.
- On the toolbar, select Purchases > Subscriptions & Licenses.
- Select the subscription name.
- In the Assigned Licenses section, select Assign licenses.
- Enter the email address of the user who will receive the license, and then select Add "[EmailAddress]".
- Select Assign licenses.



If you don't assign a license, the former free account owner becomes a free collaborator and won't be able to create records.




The license is applied after the user signs in to ProjectSight again.
